Better Day

M and I had some intimate time this morning. As I lay there with my head on his chest, relishing the last few minutes together before we had to get up, he said to me,

“Do you know what the only bad thing about this is?”

“No, what?”

“My day can’t get any better from here.”

At that moment, mine just did.
